Carnival

Butler Amusements is introducing an exciting new way to enjoy the carnival at the 2022 Dixon May Fair.

 

Customers have the option of purchasing smart cards at our ticket boxes or at our self serve kiosks.

  1. Choose the ticket package you want, pay using  cash, credit or debit, receive a smart card with all of your tickets
  2. Keep your receipt in a safe place, and use the smart card to ride rides AND play games
  3. You can refill your smart card at any ticket box or self serve kiosk. You can also track where you used your tickets and check your balance

 

Unlimited ride wristbands still work as they always have: Purchase at a Carnival Ticket Box (keep your receipt in a safe place) and ride all the ride you want that day.

Raptor

The Raptor has a familiar look of the classic scrambler, but with an extra special kick that multiplies the fun and excitement. Four arms are connected to seats in pods of three. Each pod of seats spin counterclockwise while the entire arm turns counterclockwise giving riders the feeling of being in the center of a crazy vortex. The Raptor has 18 seats each holding 2 adults per seat.

Monkey Maze Funhouse

Kids will delight in this jungle themed funhouse. It is full of tricks and thrills to keep them coming back to navigate the maze of mirrors, air tricks and spiral slide.

Hot Rods

Get your little motor runnin’ on this high-octane kiddy ride. The Hot Rods feature mini classic cars which travel in a 360 degree rotation all while covered by a giant, colorful shade umbrella. This ride will bring out the little grease monkey in any child!

Rides & Height Requirements 

The proposed list is subject to change.

General Rules:

  • No casts, pregnant persons, nor intoxicated individuals allowed on rides
  • Children who measure under 36″ in height cannot ride any carnival rides and children who measure 36-48 inches tall can only ride a few select rides
  • All riders must have either a ride wristband or carnival coupons
  • Rides require 3-5 coupons each
  • Infants are not allowed on carnival rides
